OnePlus has discreetly added a new smartwatch, the “OnePlus New Watch,” to its UK and EU web pages, hinting at the expansion of its wearable collection. The teaser is a direct follow-up to the launch of the OnePlus Watch 3 earlier in the year and the release of a smaller 43mm variant in July, indicating a new model will be here soon, even before the OnePlus Watch 4 is set to be out in early 2026.
The landing page of the upcoming smartwatch consists of a very simple and minimalist style with features including a round dial, a distinctly standing crown, and a case with sharp edge. Many have pointed out the design is quite similar to the Oppo Watch S, which is a slim 8.9mm smartwatch with a 1.46-inch AMOLED display just launched. The speculation then arose that perhaps OnePlus is going to launch a rebranded or slightly modified version of the Oppo Watch S which could be the lightest and most comfortable alternative to the Watch 3.
According to industry sources, the upcoming device will not be the next-gen Watch 4. On the contrary, it could be a Watch 3R version or a global rollout of Oppo’s Watch S, which was launched in China last month with a battery life of up to 10 days. The timing of the teaser indicates that a strategic launch is designed to fill the void between the next major OnePlus smartwatch and the one after it.
In conjunction with the teaser, OnePlus has introduced a “subscribe to save” promotion from Nov. 17 to Dec. 17. When the watch is eventually released, participants will be able to avail a discount of GBP 50 (approximately Rs. 5,800). Furthermore, a lucky subscriber will win a voucher that can be used for the purchase of a free unit, which is to be claimed between Dec. 17 and Jan. 31, 2026. The duration provides a hint at a possible global unveiling event on Dec. 17, followed by immediate access.
The teaser is accompanied by OnePlus previewing the OnePlus 15R, which is anticipated to be released in India in black and green color variants. According to reports, the 15R is likely to be a localized version of the forthcoming OnePlus Ace 6T, thus strengthening the OnePlus' approach of simultaneous announcements across different product lines.
